Week 14 Weigh In

14st 6lbs

I put on 0.5lb, which I am ok with, was expecting worse after the crap I ate this week, TOTM is not good for a diet lol!

Got a wedding to go to on thursday, and got a pretty dress, so going to be extra good for the next few days, not sure how I will cope this weekend without weeklies, but will try.

TOTM cravings

Its TOTM and I have had huge chocolate cravings and no self control. Plus I have been having a crap time at work, because nothing wants to go right, so emotional eating kicks in too.

Week 13 Weigh In

Lost 2lbs!!

Now 14st 5.5lbs.
Was well chuffed with that! Getting back into exercise felt so good this week, and my back feels absolutely fine. Might even try starting 30 day shred again.

I have however realised I cant eat like I used to, went to london yesterday for a trip to see Ghost the musical at picadilly theatre (which was really good!) and I ate my usual going to london crap, but firstly I only managed half of what I normally would have eaten, and then proceeded to be sick last night because my body couldnt deal with the crap anymore. I had used my normal dailies plus 45 of my weeklies all in one day, and had the same reaction last time I did that, so going to put a limit on the weeklies, only allowed a maximum of 30 weeklies in one given day. That should work better.

Back and exercise update

Back is feeling mostly better, I havent had any pain killers for a day and a half and havent been in pain. I tried the exercise bike on sunday and then a zumba dvd last night, and my back seemed ok, so carrying on with those exercises for rest of week.
Cant believe it but I was really happy to be doing exercise.

Best go do tonights exercise...

Week 12 Weigh In

Stayed the same again with 14st 7.5lbs.
I went over points on wednesday (probably by quite a bit), and still missing exercise, I think I definately have a metabolism that needs the exercise boost. I annoying pulled a different back muscle (or at least i think/am hoping that it was a muscle) on tuesday, just after the other was feeling healed.

Will I able to do exercise this week? I will give something light a go tonight I think. Hopefully I can.

On a plus side, I did lose 1cm around my waist, not sure if that is fat or just tightening up of muscle from my strengthening exercises, but it is still 1cm.

Week 11 Weigh In

I stayed the same with 14st 7.5lbs.

Glad it wasnt a gain after falling off track several times, I guess I still need to work on the unplanned temptation factor when other people are tempting, ie going to a festival, dad making cakes, friends wanting to go to the pub for lunch, etc. At least I seem to have learned to control it enough that I didnt fall completely off the wagon and kept it to those times. I guess thats an improvement for me, in the past I would have been bad once and then just lost control for the rest of the week, and would have had a huge gain, and maybe given up with the diet, but I am back on track now.

Its all a learning curve. At least I am still living life.

Oh! and I am really missing exercise, that probably didnt help. My back is feeling a lot better now though. Not completely healed yet, but a lot better. I am going to try seeing if it will be ok with some zumba (dvd) because I dont think that would put much pressure on my back? Wont push it too hard though.

Week 10 Weigh In

14st 7.5lbs, I have lost a pound.

Pretty pleased with that as it was totm and I ate over my weeklies by about 15 points and my back played up and went really bad, so havent done any exercise.

With regards to my bad, I ended up going to see the doctor as it was so bad the other night I was struggling to breathe due to the pain. He prescribed me pain killers, told me some stretches to do first thing when I wake up and a couple of time during the day, and told me to try to stay mobile.
So far, my back is feeling better than it has in quite a while and I think it might actually get better properly this time. Hopefully with the weight loss, that should be a problem I wont have to worry about in the future.
